Max Fordham good employer again

24 October 2014

Max Fordham has finished in the top five list of Britain's top construction industry employers.

The 2014 Building Good Employer Awards recognised the practice for 'it's dedication to recruiting and developing young people'. They also noted that Max Fordham were 'one of the industry's leading employers when it comes to the mental health of its workforce.' This award follows a place in the top five for a third year in a row.

Senior Partner at Max Fordham, Alasdair Reid says 'Its fantastic that  Building Good Employers Guide has recognized us as one of the top five employers in construction and that we have maintained our place as the topmost engineer in the survey for the third year running. This recognition is particularly pleasing because the results are based on direct feedback from the people who work here,' he explains. ' As such it is a testament to the inclusive approach we take to running our practice and is genuinely an award that we can all share and feel proud about.'

Sarah Richardson, editor of Building magazine says that the industry is finally in recovery mode. ' Steps that companies are taking to support and reward their staff are probably more critical to their business now than at any point of the last half decade. The 50 firms that make up this year's Building Good Employer Guide are leading the way in the sector in this respect.'

Assael Architecture took out first-place.
