About the person
The role requires conscientious and resourceful people who can combine strong administrative and organisational skills with drive and enthusiasm for delivering high-profile projects. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, who will work well under pressure and be able to prioritise a highly varied workload. The individual must be a team player, able to give and take direction with credibility at all levels and instil confidence within a multi-talented team.
About the vacancy
The role involves working alongside a Senior Project Engineer coordinating a team of 8 engineering staff. The scope of work includes the co-ordination and administration of work on up to 15 projects, focusing on the following:
- Estimating project engineering resource needs, monitoring progress and arranging delivery.
- Organising and managing information to meet project needs in liaison with Senior Project Engineers.
- Coordinating and organising project submissions.
- Initiating and tracking fee negotiations and agreements.
- Building and maintaining project relationships.
- Developing and maintaining systems to ensure the Practice’s quality management procedures are correctly applied.
The successful candidate will have a good degree. An interest in building design, architecture or the environment would be an advantage.
