The CIBSE Low Carbon Performance Awards 2010 - The City Academy, Hackney

The City Academy, Hackney has won New Build Project of the Year.
Tom Bentham; the Project Engineer, accepted the CIBSE award at a ceremony in London on 3rd February.

The practice was also a runner-up in the Consultancy of the Year category.

CIBSE President Mike Simpson said: "CIBSE believes that changing buildings and cities is the first and fastest step to a less carbon intensive world. All the engineers, contractors, facilities and energy managers recognised here tonight are united in their aim to create a sustainable built environment.”
