Engineer

Bertie has been at Max Fordham for at least 5 years. In this time he has worked on a wide range of mechanical, electrical and energy assessment designs.
He was the engineer working on the sizing of the heating and cooling systems for LAMDA Theatre School.

Bertie carried out an energy use assessment for a series of Children's Care Homes in Hertfordshire and for a new County Council Headquarters in Worcester.  The domestic energy use tools he is developing are in use around the office.

He is working on innovative ways of retrofit the UK's existing housing stock to achieve deep cuts in carbon emissions. Bertie is a licensed BREEAM and EcoHomes Assessor.
