For a building to be successful the internal environment needs to be one that people want to be in. That's where we come in.

With each project my aim is to minimise the active services required while delivering a space that feels comfortable and is a joy to be in.

In order to make this happen, it's important for us to be involved early on in the design process. By collaborating at the concept stage it’s possible to shape the building’s form to make the best use of passive measures such as daylight and natural ventilation.

As a multi-disciplinary engineer I’m equally skilled at mechanical and electrical design across the whole project. I’m well-placed to appreciate the requirements of other design stakeholders, allowing more effective collaboration.

In my experience, good communication is the bedrock of a successful building. It supports the kind of co-ordination between the team and understanding of the client’s requirements that enables us to deliver the best solution.
