Jakub graduated in Mathematics from University of Bristol in July 2002. After a one year gap he started an MSc. course in Aeronautics at Imperial College London where he studied computational methods with applications in fluid dynamics.
As part of his Msc. project Jakub worked for BMT Fluid Mechanics engineering consultancy where he was involved in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling of explosions in off shore industry.
After obtaining his MSc., in spring 2005 he initially started working as a Production Controller in a factory in security products manufacturing sector. In November 2005 Jakub joined Max Fordham LLP as a Graduate Engineer. He has since worked on Hampstead School, Hull Truck Theatre and is currently involved in designing the fire escape strategy and dealing with security and access panel issues for The Corby Cube Arts Centre.
More recently Jakub carried out CFD simulations of the heating and ventilation systems on the Architecture Foundation project, as well as some IES modelling for Walsall Waterfront and SAP calcs for Clink Street.
