Engineer
Jane graduated with first class honours as a Building Design Engineer from the University of Strathclyde. She joined Max Fordham LLP in 2002 as an assistant engineer for the design of mechanical and electrical services. She became a partner in 2006 and a fully charted engineer with CIBSE in 2007.
Previous projects include acting as the Project Engineer on Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood, the design phase of Cheltenham Ladies College and the recently completed undergraduate library at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. All of these projects involved working within historic buildings and had elements of new build.
Jane is currently Project Engineer on the new sixth form centre for Brentwood School and new classroom blocks for The Henrietta Barnett School, both projects include new build naturally ventilated classroom blocks with ground source heating, and refurbishment of existing buildings.
She is also developing the lighting strategy for the Tate Britain with Caruso St John.
