Engineer

Joel joined Max Fordham LLP in 2008, after completing a PhD in Physical Atmospheric Chemistry at the University of Cambridge.

Joel initially worked on a passive, naturally ventilated student accommodation building for Clare Hall College, Cambridge. He was also involved in design development for Krishna Avanti Primary School that received second place in the RICS sustainability awards 2009.

Having provided engineering support for two ongoing academy projects he is currently operating as project engineer on All Saints Academy, Dunstable as well as conducting analysis and strategic advise for the refurbishment of the Grade I listed New Court for Trinity College, Cambridge.

Aside from building system design, Joel has also worked on the thermodynamic modelling of the seawater greenhouse concept for the purposes of due diligence reporting and the Sahara Forest Project.
