Over the course of any day, most people will encounter and engage with a building in some way.

At their best, buildings can illicit joy and delight. They can be comfortable spaces to occupy, and they can improve our quality of life.

I am motivated to make a positive difference to people’s lives by helping to design better buildings - buildings that are beautiful to behold, comfortable to occupy, functional to use.

It’s also important to me that the buildings I work on minimise their impact on the environment as far as possible.

To achieve all this, I bring a simplified approach to any design challenge, and only add complexity as needed.

When the result appears simple and intuitive, despite any complexity, then it’s beautifully engineered.
