Engineer
Michael Pangalis graduated from City University, London in 1998 with a first class honours degree in mechanical engineering. The following year he completed the MSc Advanced Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College where he focused on fuel cell systems. He was the main author for the subsequent publication of this work in the IMechE Journal of Power and Energy in 2002.
Michael joined Max Fordham LLP in 2000, becoming a partner in 2005. He was the engineer for the design and commissioning of building services for the English Institutes of Sport at Manchester and Bath University and the project engineer for the National Cricket Academy at Loughborough University.
He was the project engineer from design to completion for the new events centre for Suffolk Agricultural Association that recently won a RIBA national award. Michael and was also involved in The New City Academy in Southwark that has won the Prime Minister’s award for better public building.
He recently provided advise for the redevelopment of the Centre Point Plaza in London.
Current work as project engineer includes Loxford School of Science and Technology in North-East London, Nether Street Student accommodation and Leventis Art Gallery in Cyprus.
