Lead Engineer
Neil graduated from Reading University, with a BEng (Hons) in Building Services Engineering in 1997. He obtained a Masters degree in Intelligent Buildings in 2000 and became a fully charted engineer with CIBSE in 2003.
Neil has worked for a large multi-discipline engineering consultancy and was previously a project director with XCO2 a small consultancy focusing on low carbon engineering. He joined Max Fordham LLP in 2007, with ten years experience as a building services engineer.
Previous projects include acting as project engineer for the new office for Allies + Morrison architects, the design of the a new innovation centre with Marks Barfield. and a recently completed low energy refurbishment project on a historic building with listed façade in Southwark. This project involved the creation of a new community /media centre from an existing Victorian library.
He is currently working on two care homes in Camden with Niall McLaughlin Architects, zero heat apartment concepts with RMJM, involved in the GEMS Dubai Sustainable school guide and is the concept team leader for the Masdar Institute Neighbourhood in Abu Dhabi.
