Scott Rushford graduated from Heriot Watt University with a BEng (Hons) in Environmental Services Engineering. He joined Max Fordham LLP in 2001 and became a partner in 2006.

His early work included the Guardian’s Visitors Centre in Farringdon, and Benenden School.  He also worked on the refurbishment of Victoria House in London, Bexley Leisure Centres,  The English Institute of Sport at Bath University, Rome’s new centre for contemporary art - MAXXI, New Civic Offices for Runnymede Borough Council, the refurbishment of The Royal College of Arts Sculpture Building in Kensington and Heelis, the multiple award winning central office for the National Trust in Swindon.

Current projects include new student accommodation in Westminster, New Cross New Deal, a mixed development of residential and leisure units that have the aim of regenerating the surrounding area and MASDAR, a 16 billion zero-carbon city project masterplanned by Foster and Partners.
