Guardian Visitors Centre

A high-tech archive and education centre for the Guardian was built opposite the newspaper’s offices in central London. Close environmental control was required for the paper and photographic archives, which house 58,000 editions of the Guardian and its Sunday stablemate, the Observer, as well as one million photographs. In addition to two archives, the Newsroom features a visitors’ centre and café, a lecture theatre, two exhibition areas, education facilities and lettable offices.
