Coopers Road Estate

The Coopers Road Estate in Southwark was redeveloped by Peabody across multiple phases. The first two phases comprised 154 new mixed-tenure dwellings, in place of the high rise flats that were on the original 1960s site.

CHP was installed as part of the initial development, and the design incorporates provision for the addition of alternative technologies such as rainwater recycling, photovoltaics and solar thermal water heating.

We carried out an extensive feasibility study to determine the viability of CHP for the site and were also responsible for coordinating diverted existing and new infrastructure services.
