The Wharves, Deptford

Deptford Wharves regeneration is in South East London. It will deliver 1,040 flats, houses, urban lofts as well as shops, community centre and varied landscapes.

We have worked with the design team to masterplan the building services, energy and sustainability strategy and planning application. All dwellings will be designed to Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) level 4, and one wharf will be  CSH level 6 (e.g. zero-carbon).

The energy & CO2 strategy uses passive design, efficient plant and renewable energy generation

The energy & CO2 strategy uses passive design, efficient plant and renewable energy generation to reduce CO2 emissions by a predicted 48% over the base case.

Passive design priciples are used to reduce energy demand and create a comfortable internal environment.
