Lighting design

Good lighting is essential to our enjoyment of the spaces we occupy, as well as being fundamental to the energy performance of the buildings we design.

Our low energy lighting strategies seamlessly integrate natural daylight and artificial lighting to delivery beautifully lit, visually pleasing environments. A fundamental ambition that we bring to all of our projects is the desire to maximise the use of daylight and this requires us to consider the building’s form, orientation and enclosure from the outset.

For nearly 50 years we have designed lighting schemes for award-winning projects in a wide range of sectors. Working closely with architects, designers and clients, we create imaginative lighting solutions for virtually every building type and application. In keeping with our integrated approach, our team has a broad spectrum of engineering skills as well as specific knowledge of the art and application of light. Our expertise ranges from developing an initial idea through to delivering fully detailed schemes.
