Post occupancy support

Designing and constructing a comfortable low energy building is only half the story. It is of equal importance that the building operation is understood by the facilities managers and users so that the design conditions can be achieved. There is plenty of evidence to demonstrate that is lack of understanding can result in reduced comfort levels and increased energy consumption.

We can provide support during and after occupation to help staff to settle in, monitor the building operation and progress post occupancy evaluations (POE). Fine-tuning of the controls and building operation result. This work is carried out within the Soft Landings Framework.

Our work improves our understanding of how occupants interact with buildings and their controls and provides us with feedback that we can use on our next generation of projects.
