50 years in the making

31 October 2016

Over 550 people celebrated Max Fordham's 50th Anniversary in 'The Tanks' at Tate Modern, last Thursday night.

Max gave a warm speech recounting the history of the business he created and thanked guests for their contribution to the Practice's success. You can download Max's speech here.

The Tanks are gallery spaces that form part of the recent Switch House addition at Tate Modern, designed by Max Fordham with architects Herzog & de Meuron.

Max Fordham's in-house band, 'Public M&E' - made up of members of the Practice - got the crowd going with a collection of funk, hip-hop and 80's classics.

The result was a fantastic night marking 50 years in the industry.
