We're also delighted to announce that Jeremy Climas - Schools Leader and a Principal Engineer in our Cambridge Office - has been nominated as the new Chair of the CIBSE Schools Design Group.

Jeremy will be speaking about the challenges and opportunities that arise from designing an educational establishment below residential buildings at the Education Estates Conference on Wednesday 16th October. You can find out more information about his talk here.

About Jeremy Climas

Jeremy has more than 13 years’ experience of engineering services design for new-build, sensitive refurbishment and extension projects. Before specialising in school design, his projects included theatres, university departments, college buildings, student accommodation, offices, leisure centres, sports facilities, visitor centres, museums, archives, research laboratories and heritage buildings.

Jeremy’s notable projects include a wealth of experience in the design of schools at both Primary and Secondary level, delivered via a variety of procurement routes. He has designed schools on a wide range of sites with differing constraints and opportunities and enjoys applying this experience on new schemes.

Jeremy has spoken about environmental design and the design of schools at numerous conferences and events.
