I take a great deal of pride in bringing historic buildings up to contemporary standards in terms of the quality of the internal environment and their efficiency in operation. It's satisfying to see beautiful old buildings being given a new lease on life.

During my time at the Practice I've worked on a range of cultural and education projects. For instance, I've acted as Project Engineer on Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood, been involved in the design phase of Cheltenham Ladies' College and the undergraduate library at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge.  All of these projects involved working within the fabric of historic buildings to extend and upgrade facilities, with new-build elements.

As Project Engineer on Brentwood School Sixth Form Centre and Henrietta Barnett School, I led the delivery of naturally-ventilated classroom blocks with ground source heating combined with the refurbishment of existing buildings.
