ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS – LONDON, CAMBRIDGE, AND MANCHESTER

London, Cambridge, and Manchester

Join us in our mission to transform the built environment through beautiful and sustainable engineering.

We welcome applications and employ aspiring and experienced engineers coming from a range of science and engineering backgrounds. Apart from the conventional "equal opportunities employer" or "complying with the Equality Act" statements, we can proudly and wholeheartedly say that our commitment is not only to eliminate and avoid discrimination, but to create an environment where our differences can be celebrated and valued.

Exceptional opportunities to join our London, Cambridge and Manchester offices for skilled and enthusiastic electrical engineers who are looking to be challenged by interesting, meaningful, and rewarding roles, with one of the UK’s leading, award-winning MEP engineering practices; a practice that is owned by the people who work there and committed to leading the industry in tackling the challenges posed by the climate and biodiversity crises.

The Intermediate and Senior Electrical Engineer roles involve working in one of our multi-disciplinary MEP engineering groups, designing, and delivering electrical services on projects across a range of sectors, with duties covering all aspects from RIBA stage 0 to 7. The Intermediate Electrical Engineers will be building on their initial professional development, supplementing existing knowledge with new learning to deliver electrical designs on projects, while the Senior Electrical Engineers will be leading complex electrical design on projects which will involve carrying out electrical design, managing junior resource, dealing directly with clients, design team members, contractors, and other stakeholders.

With at least 3 years’ experience in electrical design for Intermediate Electrical Engineers and at least 6 years’ experience for Senior Electrical Engineers, working for a UK based MEP consultancy, you will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering in buildings, will be holding a relevant degree qualification, and you will preferably be chartered – for Senior level - or you will be working towards, and possibly ready to apply for, chartered status.  You will also have experience working with digital design tools like AutoCAD, Revit and Amtech.

A strong desire to communicate and work collaboratively with others, both internally and externally, is essential.  You will be expected to contribute positively to the team and wider practice, with a demonstrable ability to prioritise a varied workload.
