This important role requires enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn and develop your understanding of communications, work winning and the built environment.

The role involves supporting the Communications Team and Fee Bidding Manager and producing written and visual content of a consistently high standard. A key part of your role will be helping to coordinate our internal communications.

You will work with people across the whole practice and need to work effectively with people in a variety of departments, teams and roles.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the communications calendar of articles, events, press releases, awards etc.
  • Helping coordinate Internal Communications, including presentations (Lunch Meets) and our internal newsletter (The Max)
  • Tracking project milestones and PR-related information
  • Helping manage people and project information on our website
  • Helping organise and host events, both internal and external
  • Uploading photography to our image library
  • Monitoring and recording publicity such as publications, awards, and external activities in our internal database
  • Assisting the Fee Bid Manager with data management, analysis and individual bids
  • Setting up bids and new jobs in our database
  • Searching contract notice boards for new project opportunities
  • Updating the Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool and the key contacts database
  • Proactively developing relationships with everyone in the practice


We’re looking for a resourceful, proactive team-player with an eagerness to learn and develop their professional communication skills. An interest in buildings and their design is a must.

The successful candidate will have excellent people skills, be diligent and thorough, and enjoy working on varied tasks. You will be enthusiastic, have a willingness to engage with people both internally and externally, and have a positive attitude to learning new skills.

This role also requires a responsible, self-starter with a meticulous eye for detail. A flexible approach and a willingness to assist colleagues are essential to the way we work. Knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop would be an advantage.

£25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
