ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanical or M&E engineer with at least 6 years’ experience in an engineering practice, who is looking to develop their experience, knowledge, and career.

We are looking for a mechanical or building services engineer with experience of HVAC design, to work on the mechanical design for a wide range of projects in a variety of sectors.

Based in our Manchester Office, this role involves working as part of a specialist group of mechanical engineers, providing support and expertise as well as helping to train and develop graduates.

ABOUT YOU

With at least 6 years’ experience in an engineering practice, you will have a detailed understanding of HVAC system design. You will be motivated and capable of working well under pressure.

Good people management skills are essential, as is a strong desire to communicate and work collaboratively with others, contribute positively to the team and practice, and demonstrate your ability to prioritise a varied workload.

You will have experience of leading on the mechanical design of projects, be able to handle a wide range of technical issues, and to independently generate and develop ideas.

Holding a relevant degree qualification, you are likely to be chartered or working towards chartered status and will have a sound understanding of building services system design. You will also have experience working with digital design tools like AutoCAD and Revit.
