Classroom of the future

Classroom of the Future

This stand-alone classroom was commissioned by the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for a local school in Hammersmith. Sustainability is a key feature of the services design, which includes many environmentally driven measures within rigorous cost evaluation.

The selection of construction materials emphasised renewable sources, low embodied energy and/or recyclability. The building is highly insulated and the fabric is used to store heat to provide night-time warmth.
