I am inspired by the positive influence of our work, both on the built and the wider environment. I enjoy seeing buildings perform well for their end users.

With more than fifteen years’ experience, I take a lead role on projects from an early stage, starting from developing the brief and targets for the energy and environmental performance. I value the importance of simple passive design as the starting point to realising successful and enjoyable buildings. At the same time I appreciate that efficient, simple-to-use engineering systems are also necessary to achieve truly complete solutions.

With all of my projects I like to get involved in the detail and it is important for me to follow them through to completion. I’m always interested in how a building performs once it’s in use.

I have experience in many sectors with strong interest in cultural and education buildings. My portfolio of projects includes a mix of new-build and refurbishments, as well as wide range of procurement routes and scales.
