I have worked across a broad collection of projects with wide ranging aspirations. Spun throughout them all is the same thread – communication is key.

Building relationships with our collaborators feeds into every aspect of our work, especially in our design. I love solving engineering problems and take pride in delivering to my client’s aspirations, but experience has shown me that our solutions are only as good as the paper they are written on. Our collaborators need to interpret and understand our work before they can implement it effectively.

As an engineer and digital design specialist, my work includes developing the tools and documents that we use to communicate our solutions. Modelling in 3D within a BIM framework provides new opportunities to collaborate with our peers and enhance our designs. I’m looking forward to realising the advantages brought, for the benefit of design teams, contractors and – most importantly – our clients.
