Three of our projects have won awards at the 2026 Civic Trust Awards, including two Special Awards - the most prestigious in the Civic Trust programme. Two projects have also been Highly Commended.
The Civic Trust Awards celebrate outstanding architecture, urban design and public spaces that make a positive contribution to the quality of people’s lives and the built environment. Alongside the CIBSE and RIBA Awards, they are widely regarded as among the most respected accolades in the built environment.

The Urban Nature Project at the Natural History Museum, with Feilden Fowles Architects, has won the Outstanding Achievement Special Award for its overall exemplary scheme. The project also won a Civic Trust Award for the Large / Mixed-Use class, which commends placemaking and civic value, and a Selwyn Goldsmith Award for Universal Design, for creating an environment that everyone can use with dignity, ease and equality

Rochdale Town Hall, with Donald Insall Associates, has won the Michael Middleton Special Award for a project that demonstrates outstanding achievement in conservation or restoration and the AABC Conservation Award for its high standard of historic building conservation and contribution to the quality and appearance of the built environment.
“This project stands as a fitting tribute to Michael Middleton CBE, honouring his belief that the careful stewardship of historic buildings can enrich civic life and sustain cultural legacy.“

Pembroke College, Cambridge - Mill Lane with Haworth Tompkins, a project which enlarges the college’s footprint by transforming a congested urban site, bringing together various listed and significant buildings with new development, has won a Civic Trust Award for the Large / Mixed-use Class.
Finally, BEAM Hertford with Bennetts Associates has been Highly-Commended and North London Collegiate School (NLCS) Ideas Hub and Main Entrance Building with Walters & Cohen Architects has also been Highly-Commended.
