M&E engineers have a responsibility - to the client, the building, and its future users - to understand and achieve the architectural aspirations, while finding solutions that bring together the wellbeing of occupants and the overall sustainability of the project.
After completing a combined Master’s degree in Architecture and Building Engineering, I joined Max Fordham in 2015. Since joining, I have applied my background and knowledge to the design of services for several unique and high-profile projects.
My expertise focuses on cultural and educational buildings - such as theatres, schools, art centres and archives - and I have worked on both new-build and refurbishment projects. As a member of our Developing Countries Group, I have also been involved in a school masterplan development in Niger.
I enjoy training others within the practice and externally, particularly students, and I am passionate about encouraging young people from different backgrounds to pursue a career in sustainability and design. I believe diversity is essential for creating a strong engineering workforce.
While being a fluent English speaker, my native language is Italian and I also have working proficiency in German.
