Mark is highly skilled at delivering large-scale projects which exceed expectations. His personable and proactive approach to project planning matches his many years’ experience in delivering beautiful projects that really work. He is motivated by a strong desire to dramatically improve the built environment and provide modern and flexible services delivered as discreetly as possible, always sympathetic to the architecture.

Mark is the sector leader for Museums and Galleries and has a strong expertise in a wide range of historic and listed buildings across a range of sectors including the arts, university colleges, cathedrals and stately homes. He is also experienced in environmental control for the preservation and conservation of collections and archives. He delivered our designs for the sensitive restoration of the National Portrait Gallery, discreetly integrating state-of-the-art engineering systems while protecting the heritage of the building.

Mark is a member of the review panel for the refurbishment of the Houses of Parliament restoration and renewal programme.

“Environmental engineering is designed to go largely unnoticed. There is wonderfully inventive thinking invested in our designs to help make a building ideal for its intended purpose, comfortable for users, and environmentally sustainable.”
