I believe my role extends beyond just design of the services of a building, I also have a responsibility for occupant comfort and wellbeing, as well as the environmental impact of all my projects.

My primary objective, no matter the building, is to enable the vision of the client and architect. I collaborate with stakeholders and fellow design team members to truly understand the deeper ambitions for my projects. I am very responsive to a challenge and enjoy finding the most appropriate design solution for a building.

I am motivated by tackling difficult briefs and producing well detailed systems that are integrated with the structure and architecture, hidden or exposed. I aspire to deliver net zero carbon buildings and endeavour to minimise the energy consumption of all my projects.

I have worked on a broad range of building types including residential, education and theatres, with a particular focus on refurbishments. This mixture of project types has exposed me to particularly challenging briefs and has provided me with experience that I take forward to all my other projects.
