Henry co-leads our Bristol office and leads our Decarbonisation team, helping clients deliver ambitious sustainability goals across some of the UK's most complex buildings and estates. He’s known for his collaborative approach, clear communication and ability to bring people together around a shared vision.

Henry was part of the team that established our Bristol office. His experience spans a wide range of sectors, including higher education, arts and leisure, sports facilities, healthcare, hotels, residential developments and international projects. This breadth of experience and multidisciplinary approach enables him to balance technical excellence with a strong understanding of clients' objectives.

He has a passion for low-carbon design, retrofit and decarbonisation and places great value on respectful, collaborative working relationships, believing the best outcomes are achieved when design teams, contractors and clients work together with openness and trust. His recent notable projects include the University of Exeter's West Park development, which is expected to become the UK's largest student residential Passivhaus project with 1,800 student bedrooms, and the deep refurbishment and decarbonisation of the Grade II listed Crystal Palace National Sports Centre.

Away from work, Henry applies the same principles of sustainability and building performance to his own home. He’s gradually retrofitting his 230-year-old Grade II-listed house, improving its comfort and energy efficiency while respecting its historic character.
