Nick leads our Light & Air team designing environmental strategies and lighting for many of our most ambitious projects. 

Nick has has particular experience working with a broad range of stake-holders on complex cultural projects, sharing the creative space with a diverse set of designers.  His clients include architects, artists and curators as well as public institutions and building developers.

Nick’s work has encompassed the lighting design for three Stirling Prize winning buildings and all four Tate Museums. It also includes the re-introduction of daylight into diverse internationally renowned museums, natural ventilation and passive conditioning for the next generation of art galleries and the transformation of heritage projects into conservation standard exhibition spaces. 

Nick has a flair for explaining the technical in interesting and inspiring ways. He regularly gives lectures and teaches on the subjects of environmental design, lighting and building physics at various Universities and other institutions in the UK, as well as further afield, and has also participated on awards judging panels such as the AJ, RIBA and Lighting Design Awards.
