Oasis Centre Guatemala

Oasis Centre Guatemala

The Oasis Centre provides support for girls rescued from domestic abuse. It currently has capacity for 60 girls, all residing in an environment where they can live in family units with Guatemalan house parents.

Max Fordham have provided advice on renewable energy sources and solar system design,  liaising with local suppliers to develop their proposal. As a consequence, the Oasis Centre has reduced running costs by installing LEDs and has its own solar installation to offset its yearly energy costs through a grid tied PV system. The first phase PV installation, a 13.2kWp system, is now complete. The second phase of PV installation is under way.
