Wembley Link for HUB Residential is a 256-unit development of new build to rent homes – a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes in two 17 and 19 storey brick towers in central Wembley.
It is the second phase of a development of two pieces of network rail land on the eastern fringe of Wembley High Road, situated behind the Chesterfield House scheme - the first phase, which we also worked on for the same client.
Working alongside Glenn Howells Architects, we are providing a range of services including M&E Engineering, Energy Strategies, Acoustics, Environmental Assessments and advice on renewable technologies.
Consideration was given throughout to the BTR (build to rent) aspect, with a higher focus on quality, comfort and running costs than for a market sale development. We worked closely with the client and design team to develop a design that was compliant with building regulations and the London Plan, but also catered to the client's needs in relation to considering the BTR (build to rent) aspect throughout; therefore placing a higher focus on quality, comfort, and (running) costs.
