Edmund loves to see the science of good design applied in everyday life, and he understands the physical and emotional benefits of a built environment that really works for its occupants.

As co-Director of one of our London MEP teams, he enjoys working with a gifted and committed team with the energy and freedom to collaborate and allow him to exercise his creativity.

Edmund has led the mechanical design on some of our most innovative, low operational and embodied carbon projects. He's part of our team working on the restoration and transformation of the world-class, Grade II*-listed Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, including extensive sustainability improvements to substantially decarbonise the venue. He's also part of the team pioneering the lean design on Xylo, the UK’s largest full-timber office building, designed to surpass RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge and the GLA planning targets, and targeting a NABERS 5.5* operational energy rating.

He has recently installed a heat pump in his own home and is enjoying optimising its efficiency.

“I particularly enjoy the technical and spatial challenges of making historic buildings fit for the 21st century. From the installer on-site to the ambitious design team, I value everyone’s role and work to their strengths to deliver successful projects.”
